Quasy

The weirdest thoughts I get when m having running nose or m ill because when I get running nose I lose my normal sense and same goes for illness . Yesterday morning one of my classmates called me up to know about “Quasy contract” it means “as if there is a contract” normally it happens while having contract with a minor (below 18 years of age).

So in the evening I realized this word “quasy” is bugging in my head. I started thinking “Quasy boyfriend- as if there is a boyfriend (applicable for most of the recent cases we see around us) or quasy girlfriend – as if there is a girl friend…..or worst – Quasy wife – as if there is a wife …..” and the productive thoughts started coming …..Quasy state – as if there is a state – Israel.

This is a country (illegal) only thinks for its own benefits, only country selfish enough to kill millions of people for the sake of “probable security”. Few days back I was going through a news published on a website:

The aftermath of Israel’s recent actions clearly demonstrate that the international community is now faced with a mortal threat from this US-Israeli axis – an axis of permanent state of war on the world:

Eyewitness accounts from aid workers, released after days of incarceration, flatly contradict official Israeli claims that their heavily armed forces acted in selfdefence. Aid workers corroborate initial satellite images that show Israeli forces opening fire on the flotilla before and while boarding these ships.

Turkish autopsy reports show that nine of the dead were shot up to 30 times at point blank range.

“The Turkish forensic results also showed that a 60-year-old man, Ibrahim Bilgen, was shot four times in the temple, chest, hip and back. Fulkan Dogan, 19, was shot five times in the face, in the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back from a distance of less than 45 centimeters,” reports Press TV

And when the authority was asked they replied :
“Hours before the interception of the Rachel Corrie, Israel’s foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman said:

will stop the ship, and also any other ship that will try to harm Israeli sovereignty.

So now the Life of every Palestinian (that aid convoy was for the Palestinian people) is a threat to Israeli Sovereignty …so what they are going to do in order to protect the sovereignty?

Quasy contrat is only valid when it’s for the benefit or necessity of the minor …so this Quasy state is only there for its own benefit. Necessity? …naah …because there are millions of places where they could go instead of Palestine.. ….why Palestine then? ……

Defeating depression

People say who are on the path of God they never get depressed. It is true but to some extent this saying is not applicable for those who are patient of this disease. We often get dependent on the medicine but we should try to defeat this disease through our mind power rather than getting dependent on the medicines. There are many reasons which can make a person fall into depression. So I will put light on some vary issues which can make a Muslim fall in to depression.

Why we are depressed?

• Continuous sin and getting addicted to it

Sometimes by thinking “Lesser of the two evil” we commit small sins but really tempting one. Thus as the time passes we get addicted to it. When we get our sense back we try hard to get out of it but all attempts seems worthless and with in this time we fall into many other sins as well. Because we try to forget the pain of committing sins and in this attempt to seek help from more sinful methods.

• Making plans but always failing in implementing those

I find my generation more potential in making plans and less efficient in implementing those. So as we make more plans that remind us out past activities as in how we failed last time in implementing our plans. As we think more , more the confidence goes down and at a point of time we started thinking of ourselves really “worthless” and if better “Good for nothing” and best “I can not do anything in my life”.

• Thinking a lot and working less

Another funny thing about my generation I find is “we think a lot” but then again “we work less”. We don’t do calorie burning works rather our main works are related to study or paper work. So we do not get that tired so during the night when we are on the bed we do not feel sleepy and start thinking. As night falls this is a normal human nature is that they feel lonelier. The darkness of the night also touches our hearts. The darkest thought comes into our mind in night. On the top of that most of us sleep late night.

Except these reasons there can be many other reasons which I have forgotten to add or some points I do not know about.

So now let’s talk about something fruitful. I have talked enough(I guess) about reasons now let’s talk about Burst firing the Depression

The very first thing which we should always keep into our mind is “once you die you can not get back” as it’s a one way ticket. I’m talking about it because depression actually drags us towards “suicide”. Never ever think about it. Death is not a solution because a greater test is waiting for you in the hereafter.

• Let’s not think about what we could not do in our life, let’s think what we have done in our life.

• Stay away from all kind of things which make you feel sad. I know it is not possible but do as much as you can. There might be some friends who make you feel low or any book or picture which reminds you about the past. STAY away from these things.

• When we commit sins we feel so guilty that we almost avoid good things by thinking good deeds will not get accepted by God. But to mention one thing our bad deed can not gobble up our good deeds. We are not perfect we are bound to commit sins that is why God is so merciful because He knows our nature better than us and has given as an option of “repentance”.

• We don’t need to become perfect in one day. Let’s make some feasible plans which can be implemented easily and in return will increase our self confidence. Remember one thing "Laziness" is a part of Hard work. You just simply can not work hard without laziness. Laziness is the margin which you have to cross to work hard !

• Do some physical work thus we sleep early!

• Do Crazy stuff like running behind a lamb if you don’t find one then find something which you can run behind. So try to catch a
crow or do anatomy of a cactus (bad idea). Play with colors (color the t-shirt you are wearing instead of the paper in front of you ).

• Do charity. Go to the street and help out someone. Buy food and forcefully give it to the poor.

At the end don’t be disturbed ..Disturb those disturbance in a way that they run away from you ...chill with friends who never hurt you intentionally ..play cricket , soccer ...Ice and water whatever you feel like ..buy colors ..pour it on the paper and call it a great art work ...problems will be there ...but then again ..The famous quotation from "Kite runner" ..."jindegi migzara"...means ...life goes on.

Let’s look at our success instead of looking for failure. We are not perfect so striving for perfection will be foolishness but still we do , then again keep this small thing in mind that "Perfection is unachievable". Let’s do whatever we can do within our limited capability. We don’t need to become superman, he is abnormal! He is shameless (shameless clothing)!Though we can not fly but our imagination has the longest wings of the world.

Let’s ponder on the brighter side of our life…We are best remember it , few mistakes can not destroy our potential.

When I was in college my friend(!!)used to ask me often "Tell me who are the wisest one here in this whole college"...I used to reply "Obviously me and you dah !"...She used to be like "You are absolutely right!!"

Though we were not best by the college standard but according to our own standard we were the best!

Thinking ....

upgrade lifestyle should improve individual .....but when it improves negatively ...it does it really harmfully .....we think "i will be happy if i get this and that"...but when we actually do get the thing we want to ...it does not make us happy and this achievement sometimes turns to frustration.....here we need islam ...to protect ourself ...as a shell protects the egg....the harder it is ....more protected you are ...

sometimes I think human being is really vulnerable...even a small speck of dust can literally make us blind ...and yet we are arrogant....

Arrogant for what ?? for the paper note we have earned ??? At the end of the day it is nothing but a piece of paper ...in Macro-Economics we are taught about the money Illusion ...or arrogance might come from beauty or status ...Beauty will decay with the age and the glory of status will get fade away with the passing time ...I heard about a beggar whose forefathers were from Mughals ...hahahaha...interesting how we know the truth and yet reject it ..with arrogance ....mighty arrogance ...

sho the scientist and her xparimantos

First of all let me give you a mental picture of “sho the scientist”. All the incidents took place when this scientist (later in her life she becomes a business student…a painful death of a talented scientist…sigh :P) was about four or five years old. She was soo thin that the blowing wind could make her fly away. Her grand mom was so sad about her physic. She was not a sporty kind of kid (NOT AT ALL). The main reason was she had balancing problem. She could hardly run without falling so no question of playing at all. So the only thing she could do was reading. Her mom was so busy that she did not have time to take her by the lap and reading her stories. Scientist’s mom was so intelligent so what she did was, taught her scientist girl reading. But who knew that this reading would bring greater disasters.

So I will not delay anymore and here we go……

Close-up the shampoo:

When I was a kid at that time this toothpaste called “close-up” was one of the popular toothpastes. Brushing teeth was most disgusting thing for me and most dishonoring as well.

One day when I was sitting idly(most favorite work…or you can say productive) a thought came in my mind “if toothpaste kills bacteria then we also have bacteria in our hair as well"l. So then it was the time for experiment.

All the famous experiments faces obstacles …mine was not different. The evil villain my older sister came in to the bath room when I was washing my hair with toothpaste. She was like “~_~ what are you doing? Don’t tell me you are washing hair with toothpaste? 0_O”. I used to stammer whenever I used to lie. So I was like “thththis is a nnnnew kind of shampoo”. She did not believe me as usual and called my dad. My dad sent servants to bring me in front of him as I did not want to go. So later part of the story is really painful…..most painful thing for me was that I could not kill the bacteria on my hair.

But when I grew older I tried to kill these bacteria with washing powder .....and m happy to let you know that experiment was successful.

Let me give you a short list of my experiments:

1. Chewing bamboo by thinking it’s Sugarcane
2. Drinking dirty water to prepare myself for becoming Robinson Crusoe.
3. Eating ants because I was told that by eating black ants I can learn swimming (it’s a DIRTY MYTH)
4. Sending news to the other ants through an imprisoned ant.
5. Trying to make soap out of shampoo…
And sooo onnnn……

There are many stories like this …to preserve my reputation I think I should not share all of them ….but if I feel I will obviously …inshaAllaah.

Good leads to gooder and bad leads to badder :P

Today When I was surfing the net I realized one thing…..which is – Good leads to better and bad leads to worse …

When we go to any Islamic website we get the links of various Islamic websites thus we start surfing from this link to that link….that’s how the search becomes surf …

Take another example..If you will go to a page of any facebook Group you will get the names of other facebook groups appearing on that page thus you get to know deeper about that certain matter.

Like one website based on cooking materials will lead you to the further websites related with this subject. One medical website will lead you to the other medical websites….

Like that if you will go to the websites which are mainly well known for music downloads…you will notice links of different adult-websites are appearing on the web-page…..that adult-websites will lead you to the porn websites …that’s how it becomes surfing …as it is net-surfing….one thread of net will lead you to the another related thread ….

Life is not that much different than the net-surfing. Today you hang out with some bad-people..Tomorrow surely you will be seen hanging out with criminals. This whole world is like a net …one thread will lead you to another related thread…

So it is better you put your step on a considerably good net and start surfing ….

As the Chinese proverb goes ….a thousand mile walk starts with the first step ….you road to Jannah will start from the day you intend to go to that way …and same goes for the road to hell.

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,

“The example of a good companion and a bad one is the bearer of musk and the worker on the bellows. A bearer of musk would give you some, you might buy some from him, or you might enjoy the fragrance of his musk. The worker on ... See Morethe bellows, on the other hand, might spoil your clothes with sparks from his bellows, or you get a bad smell from him.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, this version being Muslim’s)

Prostitution in Bangladesh

For last few days I’m coming through a common topic wherever I go, which is the “Legalization of prostitution” in Bangladesh. May be most of the people in Bangladesh are unaware of this fact that prostitution has been legalized in Bangladesh in year 2000[1][2]. Though the constitute of Bangladesh provides, “State Shall endeavor to prevent gambling and prostitution”. The section 364A, 366A and section 373 contain the laws and regulations about prostitution.

Local NGOs estimate the total number of female prostitutes to be as many as 100,000. The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) estimated in 2004 that there were 10,000 underage girls used in commercial sexual exploitation in the country, but other estimates placed the figure as high as 29,000.But they don’t know about the number of male prostitution. But the interesting fact is, male prostitution has become a norm here. People often mix up the issue of male prostitution with the issue of “homosexuality” thus the NGO’s couldn’t get an appropriate number of male prostitutes.

Wikipedia Article quotes

Most urban Bangladeshi men do not marry before their 30s, this factor, combined with the non-availability of girls (pre-marital sex is frowned upon), supports a long-standing culture of young men in their twenties seeking sexual outlets with teenage boys - the practice is not regarded as prostitution locally. Male brothels are rare but not unknown - there are two in Sylhet - and commonly feature boys over the age of 17.”

Considerably the women trafficking have increased in Bangladesh and many other phenomenons the citizen will have to view in coming days.

Interesting fact is our economy is a consumer based economy so we have to keep the flow of supply as long as there is demand. So if there is any acute situation in prostitute market in future, due to this fact “demand based economy” we have to keep the chain of supply running with full effort, No matter what happens.

And I heard from my lawyer relative that, “To get the license on prostitution the license holder needs to be at-least 14”. But my question is, “why I have to be at least 18 to get married?”

Weird country, weird governance and weird laws.

Anyways ….

Reminder for Sho-po

Everyday in the morning whenever I put on my hijab (I try to put on the simplest one) I feel “ Isn’t it too simple ? what people will say ..dah shohana you look so khat (un-smart)”….everyday in the morning I get into the fight with my own self.
Why we are always concern about “what others think about us?”

I find myself and find out my state in this world when I walk on the street alone. This is me shohana , always surrounded by gang of friends , rarely she is alone ….and now here she is walking down the street alone. The real state of human kind is , they are alone in this world…they have come alone in this earth and they will leave from here alone…

People can show sympathy but they can’t share your pain
People can provide you food by the mercy of Allaah but by Allaah they can never feel your hunger
People can provide you company but by Allaah they can never share your pain of loneliness

Then why do we delay in doing hijab or to do any good deeds which might look awkward in other’s eyes. When the book of deed will be given on the left hand instead of right hand...Will anybody come forth on the day of judgment and will say “oh Angel of Allaah! give me her book of deed on my left hand and let me share her punishment “ ….will anybody ? ……..by Allaah never …never this is going happen even not on the day when the sun is going to rise from the west.

Mainly new practicing people are affected by “What-others-r-thinking-sy
ndrome” ….Let me give a picture of our daily attempt for good deeds ,

Once I was in a gathering where most of the guys were wearing pants below ankle but there was this a brother who was wearing the trouser in sunnah way . But when he entered into the gathering and saw his friends cleaning floor with their trousers (!!!) then he unfolded his one by the help of his toe ….He thought nobody noticed…but….anyways …

This is a silly story …but I find its significance/influence far fetched ….

The more we think about what other’s think about us, the more we get into this disease.
Nobody can help me out except Allaah , nobody can share my pain except my Allaah and nobody can guide me except Allaah….then we should not be concerned about other’s thought except Allaah ..

There is this hadith by rasul saws( the gist not the exact hadith) :

“If the whole world gets united to help you out , they will be able to do so …as much as Allaah swt wills ..not more than that …and if the whole world gets united to harm you they will be able to do so ..as much as Allaah swt wills…not a bit more than that”

So when someone says …don’t do hijab right now because you might not be able to get married or you might not get a good job or you might get disgraced by society …

Then we muslimah tell them , “ who are you to decide with what condition I’ll get married , who are you to provide my rizq ? ….and who are you to disgrace me when Allaah the Rabbul ‘Alamin(the lord of the worlds ) is my protector ..? “

Bravery comes with the Iman and Taqwah and tawakkul (reliance) upon Allaah ….

This is a reminder for me( as long as I tell myself every morning ..dah shohana you look khat :P) and the sisters ….whom I love only for Allaah’s sake ….so this love is immortal …because this love will remain as long as my Lord will remain and we know …..the whole creation will be perished and the face of Allaah will remain ..
